Restoration and Reconstruction of historical glass paintings, Passau

Restoration and Reconstruction of historical glass paintings, Passau

The historical stained glass windows of the Spitalkirche zum Heiligen Geist, Passau, have been restored and reconstructed after a long period of lying spared of attention in the attic of the ancient building - mostly heavily damaged and broken. The restorers, glass painters and stained glass artists renewed them laboriously and passionately to remount them to bring back the ancient flair into the heritage.
